We had 160 people apply for an upcoming project. We invited 75 to tape, then 23 to audition. We will employ 6. We are a team of two freelance people...and yet we got back to every person at every stage to let them know. It took 20mins to send the 'no' emails. It's NOT THAT HARD.

I think my favourite part of cossielives is Tesco raising the price of tomatoes, while also reducing the number in the pack and still having the self-service till show a pack of 6. Gives real "yeah but what the fuck are YOU gonna do about it?" vibes. The answer is shoplift, BTW.

@TheatreKallum Every damn time. Too often theatre do it likes it’s part of the marketing to have relaxed as an offer ‘that will sell more tickets’ rather than as a genuine and understood offer. Yes you actually need to make definitive changes to the show. Do feedback to them!

@AliceYarr 4 me it’s a culmination of statements. That seem to say ‘feel sorry for us’ and ‘we are really good’. For me NTW often come across as insular and at times arrogant in how they communicate. But maybe that’s just how I’ve come to read their tone.

@Shane_91 and raising the point of how if NTW can’t fairly challenge these types of decisions - with all of its privilege and staffing and funding behind it - how much harder is it gonna be for everyone else? (Though appreciate if that’s not how you exactly read the statement.)

for balance I’m tired of the ‘oh woe us’ statements from @NTWtweets. ‘NTW entered into a labour-intensive..’ Of course you did that’s your job. That times already funded. If you want the sector to believe you’re not an insular organisation stop always talking like one.

@beccaleigh99 @Arts_Wales_ Yes this new approach that seems to be emerging from ACW is not the one. If they continue not following the guidelines and their own documents on portfolio and create grants then we are entering an era of opinion over process. Scary.

Would be good to hear @Arts_Wales_ side. There must be transparency else we might as well all give up.
