@FoulkShay Easy peasy. If you string multiple GL systems together and run 24/7/365, you might get an acres worth of product! Winning.

It’s the last day to find us at @cfsreginask! If you’re at the show be sure to come through Hall 11 and find us. (Booth 11623) We’re talking all about #ManipulatorPGR and Tough Herbicide.

English

@TerryHyra Ha sorry! Yes Saturday. I haven’t bought yet but I usually get the full 4 day pass anyway. One of my favourite events of the summer.
English

@shanefalk I see. Hope you didn’t buy tickets for Friday! July 11th is Saturday 😂
English

@shanefalk Did they announce Friday for sure. I’ve been waiting to find out the exact date!

@WWFCandWKfan @BDuchek 1/4 of a litre equaling 38 lbs seems crazy. I wouldn’t even believe it equaling 3.8 lbs.

@shanefalk @Mullin_95 @PlayNowManitoba Can’t even check to see if they honor the dunstone bet cause i looked at it more than twice today and it thinks i was playing poker all day or something. And doesn’t just let you not play. Can’t even see if you won

English

Wild what our government run lotteries can do. They posted wrong odds. I bought them. Then they are just like fuck you we screwed up so not honoring that. @PlayNowManitoba

English

@Mullin_95 @lukelelond @PlayNowManitoba Shouldn’t have bet against Manitoba anyway!
3.00 or 1.9 odds, either way it’s gone now

@ColinMartel91 Yeah I think nitrogen is probably the most over applied nutrient for most farms. But hate to leave the crop short I guess.
English

@shanefalk We had a pretty darn good year here… and some soil test have a lot of N left 🤯
English

I’ve been saying this about canola and even the newer wheat varieties for years.

@parviewfarms @WheatPete I honestly don’t know how anyone would be able to plant winter wheat on soybean stubble in Manitoba. No chance it’s harvested in time in fall for the seeding deadline. So not sure where they got those numbers from anyway. Majority of winter wheat acres would be in canola stubble.
English

@parviewfarms @WheatPete Okay makes sense. Yeah hardly any winter wheat grown in Manitoba anymore.
English

Hey @WheatPete , making N plans for hrw. Our experience is always after canola, 135-140N, but this year we also have a bunch following soybeans. Do we modify N rate there?
English

@parviewfarms @WheatPete We find the opposite here in Manitoba. I seem to get an N credit from soybeans versus canola so put in lower nitrogen on soybean stubble. Usually about 5 lbs. And wheat does better on soybean stubble versus canola in general. See chart here.

English

@WheatPete Interesting, glad I asked Pete. I expected an N credit (or reduced N usage by the lower soy residue, or however you described it on a recent Word)
