@FreeKeyThree Tbf it’s not creatives posting that stuff because believe me we have made this known…the people posting it are the ones you are already describing.

Athletics creative teams need someone who knows social in the room with influence. Ex: your basketball program lost by 42 in conference? Maybe just post “No time for social media. Gotta get back in the gym.” That score graphic sucks (not bc of design talent—you lost by 42). People can look up a score on ESPN.

@shanergraphics Wishing you the best Shane. I’m sure you will land in a better situation that values human creativity. It’s sad to see some organizations take the cheaper but soulless path of AI content.

@shanergraphics I’ll always associate you with Mizzou creative. Ali, Jessi, you, my brother and others. So much talent to come and go through their athletic dept, they had it real good. It’s a shame now. Either way, I’m proud of you for standing on your values at the end of the day.

@drewmorrisKC Same dude. Jessi and Alex mean the world to me. I would not be where I am or achieved what I did without those two…Eichel, Robert, Gougs, like list of talent that came from this school out there is endless and arguably unmatched. Just can’t keep any of them.

@CMaassen3 Thanks Caleb! That really means a lot! I try to remember there’s a silver lining to everything in life so I think it was for the best. I was not happy there toward the end and I think these last few months helped me find myself again.

@ohchilesplease I may have worded the original post a bit poorly haha…I haven’t been there since the 2025-26 season began. This wasn’t something I did following the events of the AI. I wanted everyone to know I was not involved in that because it would not happen on my watch.

@shanergraphics I am so happy that you stepped down for your artistic integrity! I honestly feel that just because AI is everywhere doesn’t mean it should be, especially in creative spaces. there are other popular trends to follow that don’t involve uncanny pictures/videos that waste water.

@DallasJonesy Yeah my bad. I noticed after typing the original post I should’ve said “I haven’t been with them since…” and not “no longer” because I could see how that would get interpreted differently haha. NIL is taking everything from college sports. It’s that simple.

@shanergraphics I don’t want to imply that it was a direct result. It’s just hard to ignore the path everything is currently on and what we are seeing prioritized.

We’re already seeing great creatives lose their jobs because they want to make real content and not ai slop. This is about as dark as it gets.
