Right. He opted for a PRO CAREER. He made a decision. In hindsight, it was probably a dumb decision. You don’t get do overs in life. He’s a professional player.

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo reacts to the NCAA granting Baylor commit and former NBA Draft pick James Nnaji four years of eligibility: "I'm a little surprised. I've got a call in to Scott. I'm anxious to see what he tells me. ... If that's what we're going to, shame on the NCAA. And shame on the coaches, too." Read: on3.com/news/tom-izzo-…

Great explanation of how UAPs travel. It won't be all of the technologies that we reverse engineer that will change the world. But rather just one. Age of Disclosure was great, a little slow in the beginning but worth it.

“Transfer portal recruitment is almost bigger than winning games, not at Michigan State.” “I don’t give up on the people I got.” Tom Izzo saying this after beating the highest paid roster ($22 MILLION💰) in America is why he’s the GOAT🐐 🎥 @TheSpartanMag

So if you: Step 1 • left HS ball for OTE Step 2 • skipped college to go pro Step 3 • didn’t get drafted Step 4 • went the G-League route Step 5 • got humbled You can act like none of that happened and play college ball now

@ryanhammer09 Now ill give you 3 simple portal rules to add on to this: A. Can only transfer max Twice B. Cannot transfer until after sophomore year (this will help somewhat regulate and also make kids not always take easy way out after 1 down season) C. Cannot transfer in-conference

Agree with Fran, too much ambiguity. My proposed rules: 1. Step foot on a G League floor, no college. 1B. Enter & stay in NBA draft, no more college. 2. International pros 19 years or less can play CBB (for first time - no 20+ year old intl freshmen) 3. JUCO player get ONE free JUCO year 4. Transfer fees for schools losing player in portal (mostly/only for power conference poaching) 5. Nationwide maximum age of 25. (room for players with medical history, etc) 6. No limits on non Americans getting NIL $ 7. Some sort of future salary cap & min (Ambiguous rn, would need larger CBA & would want to do this by conference. Perfect world we have promotion/relegation too)
Fran Fraschilla@franfraschilla

College basketball needs a commissioner or a leadership structure that can make decisions on all of these agenda items and more. It might even take a “summit” with the @NBA and @FIBA. 1. JUCO to NCAA eligibility 2. International pro to NCAA eligibility 3. Multiple transfer NCAA eligibility 4. NBA draft back to college NCAA eligibility 5. G League back to NCAA eligibility 6. A Salary cap and a CBA 7. 4 Years of NCAA eligibility or 5 8. Waivers or no waivers 9. ENFORCEMENT OF THE RULES. Where do we draw the line on these issues? Asking for friends.

“This was a sports rigging operation that spanned years across 11 states. In total, 30 individuals have been arrested (13 mafia members)” “The case involves La Cosa Nostra aka the Italian mafia” “former Raptors player Jontay Porter was threatened for his life to participate in the sports gambling scheme because of his gambling debts.” “FBI been on this investigation for four years, with victims losing at least $7 million” “Terry Rozier said that he was going to leave a game early on March 23, 2023, with an injury. The defendants then placed more than $200,000 of wagers on the unders for his prop bets, with Rozier leaving the game after nine minutes. Those bets paid out tens of thousands of dollars in profits, and the defendants and Rozier counted the money at his house”

@RLastellaReport Exactly. Said 100% perfectly its all about the psychology which people aren't understanding. These kids that chose the G over cbb years ago were probably saying f**k cbb im too good for that lemme go pro and then quickly realized they suck and can't hang so they go back. pathetic

We have generally lost the plot of what college and the G-League were for. If you chose to go to the G-League and didn’t turn that into an NBA spot & NBA money, you probably aren’t good enough to earn that. You shouldn’t then be allowed to take $ & opportunities from someone who made the smart choice out of HS and went to college.
Joe Tipton@JoeTipton

NEWS: G-League center Abdullah Ahmed is down to three schools, he tells @Rivals. The 21-year-old big man has played the last two seasons in the G-League and is expected to have at least two years of college eligibility, pending approval from the NCAA.
