While an optimum EC level supports healthy plant growth, excessive conductivity indicates salt build-up, which can severely affect root absorption and crop performance. 🌿 Low Conductivity (Balanced Soil) When soil conductivity is within the ideal range: ✔️ Proper balance of essential nutrients like Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Nitrate (NO₃), and Phosphate (PO₄) ✔️ Better water availability in the root zone ✔️ Healthy root expansion and nutrient uptake ✔️ Strong vegetative growth and greener leaves ✔️ Improved plant vigor and yield potential Healthy soil allows roots to absorb both water and nutrients efficiently, leading to strong plant development. ⚠️ High Conductivity (Salinity Stress) High EC usually means excess salts such as Sodium (Na⁺) and Chloride (Cl⁻) have accumulated in the soil.
