This is my last week at Hopkins and I want to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone I have worked beside and that have mentored me over the last 4 years. From our rehab dept to the RNs, APPs, MDs, RTs, Techs, Pharmacists, EVS etc. It was truly an honor.

A 1st year medical student who is 25 years old doesn't get to practice medicine independently until they are at least 32. PAs and NPs who start at the same age get to practice by 27. Then for those next 5 years the mid-levels enjoy a nice salary while med students take on more loans and residents work for below minimum wage. Who wouldn't be disheartened?
