Ignoring Indigenous issues is ONLY possible because of systemic racism designed to erase them. Canada is built such that it’s not only possible but PREFERABLE to ignore the genocide: to change it requires ripping up Canada as it is by the roots and starting over. Let’s get busy.

What baffles me most is that, in an era where so many believe their opinions have as much weight and value as fact, so few appear to feel they hold the burden of accountability for their words and actions.

@TheFwordNB It’s frustrating and I’ve had my share of words for them however the positive impact they are having for local restaurants in these difficult times can’t be understated with some in Fredericton being able to open second north side locations as well. It’s worth it imho
