@jwilgenburg1 I’ve just heard they’ll spend more time in the shop than the field which not something I want to deal with
English

@shanktc Yeah, buddy from when I was on harvest had 2 in Scotland and liked them but haven't heard many good things from this side of the pond. They run a Fendt CVT I believe but their own programming and it just isn't as good
English

@jwilgenburg1 I’m sure some of them do, at one point I thought it would be nice to find a fastrac for a utility tractor but found out they’re kinda garbage but they’ll go 45 😂
English

@shanktc I would assume some of the 100-150ish HP tractors can go 30, just hard to find as nobody specs them like that
English

@jwilgenburg1 I just want something that goes faster to road the mower as far as we do.
English

@shanktc We run a 7R on one sometimes but they've also got like 15K hours. Nice to have the power for a 20' in big weeds
English

@jwilgenburg1 You’re gonna make me want to put a 360hp tractor on a batwing mower 😂
English

@shanktc A standard wheel machine but not a 50 kph machine. The Fendt will do 34 and we have a few Deeres that will do 31. New high hp 8Rs will do 37 I believe and I think some Fendts in Europe do 40+
English

@jwilgenburg1 Our 8370RT will go the same speed as a wheel machine, but I ruined a brand new track doing that so we keep it at 18 now.
English

@shanktc Yeah, I remember that a few years ago. I feel like they should've known better with choppers haha.
Most track machines also don't go very fast and it adds up when going down the road a lot. Ironically our 740TT goes faster than the 750 on wheels lol
English

@jwilgenburg1 This was when they had the tiered program I can’t remember what it was called but it went away, had a tech tell me they had one loaner chopper and at one time 5 chopper’s in that program down.
Yeah you don’t want to road a track that much, I think it’s better with wider tracks
English

@shanktc Which is ironic for how many tractors they're sitting on...
Makes sense, we've contemplated tracks but the roading kills that option for us
English

@jwilgenburg1 21st century had that too, they never had any loaners available though. Wheeled, have enough flood we can’t go all track machines
English

@shanktc Haven't had to use it but they've also got a deal where they'll bring you a loaner if it's more than so many hours of downtime.
Wheeled or 2 track?
English

@jwilgenburg1 3 years is more than Deere or Case. Getting a demo sometime this week, would be nice to try out on the planter but that’s to much work for 10 hrs
English

@shanktc I think they're hitting critical mass of having enough machines around to keep good techs around which is good. Yup, gold star base warranty is 3 years 3K hours and they do all the services in that window. Can extend it but not sure how far
English

@jwilgenburg1 Service been good? Salesman told me they do the oil changes and everything while it’s under warranty
English

@shanktc This one hasn't really had anything go wrong but it's also only has a hair under 1500 hours. Have a 930 on a feed wagon and it had a few things like a bad joystick but nothing crazy. Customization is pretty easy to me but some people get intimidated by the volume of options.
English

@jwilgenburg1 Had any problems? How easy is it to customize the layouts?
English

@shanktc 933, gonna tune it to a 942 eventually cause I need more power for the triple mowers in big sorghum. Though the way it's looking I won't need to do that this year...
