Design automotive components and instantly visualize them in photorealistic context. The workflow used to be: ❎ model in CAD → export → rendering software → wait. ✅ Now it's just model and prompt. Try Generative render now and show us your results. #Shapr3D #GenerativeRender

Custom material import just landed in Shapr3D 🎊 Import your own .png or .jpeg files as custom materials. Apply them directly to your model like any native finish. Unique textures, specific branding, surface details the standard library doesn't have.

A vision-guided robot that dynamically identifies and locates parts without fixed positions or dedicated fixtures. Sounds good on paper. But is it actually better than programming the arm movement directly and getting a faster cycle time with less complexity? Let us know what you think 👇

The best part of any build is that aha moment when everything clicks and your idea finally starts taking shape. We want to be there for that moment. We're opening up the Shapr3D Creator Program for engineers, designers, and makers who turn their process into content. The constraints, the iterations, the decisions behind the finished piece. If you create content that teaches real process and Shapr3D is part of how you work, we'd love to support you with Pro license, technical help, and more. 🔗 : link.shapr3d.com/create

Your best ideas don't happen at a desk. They happen on a train, in a café, at 11pm when you really should be sleeping. By the time you've set up your design space, the inspiration's gone. Working on iPad closes that gap. Full modelling, visualisation, and a presentation-ready render, wherever the idea hits. This is what concept to client looks like when your design studio fits in a bag.

You pattern 20 bodies, step back, and notice you forgot to add a chamfer. Or a fillet. Something small, but now it's everywhere. A beginner fixes it the hard way. Same step, repeated 20 times. A pro? Goes back into the design history, inserts the missing feature before the pattern, and watches every single body update automatically. Which one are you? 👇

A cluttered desk can be a personality trait, but you can also treat it as an engineering problem. And engineering problems have solutions.

A carriage stop is just a small block of metal with a set screw. But it's the thing standing between a clean shoulder cut and a very bad afternoon in the shop. Got story about a design going horribly wrong? Share it in the comments 👇

One of the many big reasons I stick with @Shapr3D for drafting is I can quickly start a draft upstairs either on my iPad or Mac Mini, and then when I'm ready to refine I walk down to the basement and pick up where I left off on a Windows 11 without skipping a beat. LOVE it.

Announcing my first partnership with @Shapr3D! It's a product that I literally couldn't have started my business without. I learned 3D designing, built a product, and started selling in less than 2 months. It's so fun and easy to use that I got my wife to learn 3D designing basics, and she designed a plant pot from scratch while we drank coffee on a Sunday morning.

@devmobnow It's hard to see are those angled faces at the same angle, but I suppose they are (otherwise it's very painful case)

I want to sweep that edge of the angled piece along the sketch lines to join the other pieces is this possible? I have tried offset face and sweep and a multitude of other things to no avail. ⁦@Shapr3D

Old classic is making a comeback. Standard vise jaws have a weakness. Clamping circular or tapered parts usually means instability or risking damage to the workpiece. Here is a concept for a multipurpose jaw system inspired by a classic fixture design. It’s engineered to transition between different model shapes without ever swapping your setup or damaging the model. What do you think of this solution?
