@sharell_mtg Thank you.
Nethergoyf is certainly useful against mirror matches and combo decks, but it does tend to lower the deck’s overall power, so it’s a tough call.
I still can’t decide which is better.

Joao actually got 2nd and the replenish player won. However he still had an amazing run and I’ve been helping him prepare for this event with Terrageddon and have been sharing lots of stuff from my soon to be done primer with him. It was awesome to see it pay off!

Wotc did this with @BraunDuinIt , @SamuelHBlack & Brad Nelson for ModernHorizons2 and it came out the best set of all time. I don't know if they every did it again, but I'm certainly grateful they did it for MH2. 🙏 #MTG

Pokemon TCG testing as a full-time 9-5 job? that's possible at Creatures Inc, in the office filled with nothing but tables, chairs, and drawers of Pokemon cards 19 playtesters play TCG seven hours a day, five days a week to test new cards before release their entire job is to test Pokemon cards and report back to the designers

@sam_white39 @fireshoes Ok, it's true that those two lives can hurt quite a bit. This weekend I'm playing in a local league, I'll probably try out several of your changes to the deck. Thanks for the advice!!

@sharell_mtg @fireshoes It could maybe be fine but I think you’re gonna end up hurting yourself too much for it to be worth it. Even in a match where you don’t care about your life total as much, Tomb is still really bad with Sylvan Library for example. I think I’d play 3rd Port if I couldn’t play City.

Lost in top 4 in our 52 player premodern monthly. 5-1 in Swiss and the T4 match was 80min long against UB Tog and was awesome. Got him to 1 life G3 and overall a really close match. Premodern is amazing as always @fireshoes My Terra primer I might be able to finish in a week.

@seanstoneashe Congrats! I have the same feeling about the meta... lately I've been joining the anti-Dimir side playing Affinity, Sneak, etc... but at some point I'll surely come back to it as well. It seems like Legacy has been rotating a lot lately, it's cool to have to adapt

I got my first trophy in a while on Dimir Tempo. It seems like the Legacy meta has been targeting this deck for a bit, but it can't stay down forever!

@seanstoneashe Tried your list in a league—felt super tuned. Went 4–1, only loss to the legend @Bryant_Cook, so it already feels like a trophy to me. If I play it this weekend, I’ll run the exact same 75… and pray I dodge Eldrazi 😅

@sharell_mtg Yeah, that’s definitely a tough matchup. I think the Snuff Outs help a lot. If you have a bunch of Eldrazi at locals, you could main deck two copies. The other key is just having bigger creatures so Mutktide is an MVP, which can’t die to K Command.

I split the finals of the Legacy Challenge today with parkss. GGs to all opponents!
Early Murktides closed out a ton of games for me, and I got to grow the Murktides on multiple occasions using Feed the Cycle. Snuff Out also was outstanding!

@seanstoneashe What do you think about matchups like Eldrazi / Ancient Tomb decks? I love this deck, but they are the main reason reason because I don’t choose it for my local leagues :(

This list is also extremely strong in the mirror. I hardly ever lose to any other Dimir players.
