I ordered it earlier this year out of interest and read it through. I quoted it in a paper I recently wrote about representations of Muslim women in television series in the US and the UK.

@helloiammariam It sucks but I appreciate you bringing it up. Its a reproduction of orientalist based constructs of unveiling linked with expectations of feminity and sexuality in Muslim women. I discussed this a little bit in a recent paper and now I want to write about "unveiling" in depth.

@veruka2 I understand the need to not hand out grades and how this transition is difficult for uni's and profs but it's become overwhelming to try and submit the best work, esp. w/uncertainty abt. future classes, graduation, etc.

@veruka2 Wow you are amazing. I'm a graduate student and have received messages of support from most of my instructors but the transition to online has only created more work and burdens, which if we don't compete will result in lower grades or taking an incomplete. Hardly a solution.
