EVE OF THE WAR (1978), the second single from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, is an absolute banger. But the video is on another level, perfectly capturing the terrifying mood of the album artwork. I've been saying this for decades: make a film of this!

Sad to see that Alan Rothwell has passed. I was terrified of Picture Box as a child but it’s one of those lasting childhood memories I look back on fondly now🥴 One for @ScarredForLife2 #RIP

Such a massive part of our team over the last two years. I’d imagine this move back up north is a decision based around both family and finances, and fair play to Shelts he fully deserves it. There’ll probably be mixed opinions on whether we needed to keep him or not, but you can’t question how much the manager and squad valued him. A top character to have around the place, and alongside his unbelievable work rate, he’ll definitely be missed. Wishing @Mark_Shelton8 all the very best moving forward (apart from against us). Always a champion 😉🧡

@IrishBarnetFans @BarnetFC Teen Bee season tickets have gone from £84 to £120. It’s now less than a pound a game difference between having a season ticket and paying on the day for that age group if attending all games. Doesn’t really reward long term loyalty or secure it for such an important demographic.

Would the club consider an early bird price to help fans that buy tickets well in advance @BarnetFC?! #BarnetFC

@Jimbokav1971 Shortest long throw in football! Other than that, an absolutely cracking player, so gifted and incredibly athletic, great stamina. Basic numbers don’t show how he affects play with his pressing and his running with the ball. If “pre-assists” were a thing I reckon he’d be top!

@BitcoinBee21 @BarnetFC Agreed. £6 a match day ticket just announced too, so only save £18 on a season ticket, less than a pound a game saving for 23 home games.

@Sharkholio @BarnetFC Teen bees are the future. They'll be the ones paying £500 for the next 60 years. If anything give them the tickets for free.

@The_BeeBrief Agree. The Teen Bee season ticket increasing over 40% definitely needs more explanation too - attracting future regulars is essential, but this increase is exceptional unless we get clearer narrative.

TK better be backing Dean! An 11% rise is quite steep but understandable if we are going to go for it next season. If he doesn't back Dean now, it's a massive kick in the teeth for everyone involved.
