Selective outrage is fascinating. Mock someone publicly, then act surprised when people answer back. If you create the standard, don’t complain when it’s applied equally. Then come the cryptic posts and imaginary narratives, where every accomplishment has to be explained away instead of simply acknowledged. Rather than accepting that someone may have earned an opportunity through talent, hard work, and dedication, some people seem more invested in inventing stories that fit their bias. That says far more about the storyteller than the person they’re trying to discredit. The reality is much simpler. She earned every opportunity through her own merit, hard work, perseverance, and dedication. No amount of denial or manufactured narratives can change that. The truth doesn’t become less true just because some people refuse to accept it.
