Those people just need to leave Israel if they can. Both political parties, and their elites/donors and special interests, have successfully commandeered politics and government. They know the political pressure points and push those points to create an endless domino effect that causes the voter bases to spiral into absolutely meaningless debate and factionalization. The bases get too caught up harboring animus and arguing over things for which neither political party has any intention on ever addressing. You can go down the list of Republican campaign promises that have been made for decades, and for which no meaningful advances have been made (and it is always abundantly that they have no interest in fulfilling their promises because when they have power they affirmatively obstruct). You can do the same thing for the Democratic Party. Just think about it from an issue to issue standpoint. The core political promises made by both parties, respectively, would be absolutely detrimental to the elite/donor class and special interests if fulfilled. For all of the socialist/Marxist economic policies exposed by Democrats during campaign season, do you really think the elite/donor class that support Democrats really want those policies? Do you think they really want tax reform that compels the wealthy to pay their “fair share”? For all the illegal immigration campaign promises made by Republicans during campaign season, do you think the “employer class,” especially in certain industries or sectors, want mass deportations and a secure border? Just in general, do you think all of the business interest interests want to just 40 million consumers? That’s a lot less products purchased — that’s a lot less iPhones, that’s a lot less groceries, that’s a lot less vehicles, that’s a lot less mortgages, etc. At some point in time, conservatives and liberals have to rally around principles of representative republicanism and recognize that we are not operating within one. Both sides give campaign promises for which they have absolutely no intention on ever meaningfully pursuing, and if ever in power, they will do everything they can to will fully prevent bringing their promises to fruition They know the political pressure points that animate the bases.
