@wine_x13 Evil. So are the gang rapists in England that seem to be getting away with it
English

Her own father got her drunk… then raped her for four hours straight.
She couldn’t even walk afterward. Her uncle had to carry her into the hospital.
The rape kit proved his DNA.
She was left so broken she took her own life — because she couldn’t live with what her dad did to her.
And he’s only getting THREE YEARS?
This is not justice. This is a slap in the face to every survivor.
May he never know a single second of peace.
Say her name. Share this until they listen. 💔

@MC_Panthers @TonyOsburn9 Great job! A lot of hard work went into that!

Sorry Trump, we don’t want your Data Centers in Missouri.
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47
Google announces a $15B data center in Mid-Missouri, creating thousands of construction jobs & hundreds of permanent jobs: "It won't hurt the water supply as it will be built with air cooling technology. [Google's] going to spend $20M to drive down energy bills for residents."
English

130 trillion gallons of water run through St Louis daily via the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. The largest data centers only use 3-5 million gallons a day. So water use is negligible. Most water evaporates into the atmosphere and the rest goes back into the river. No pollution. So that part of the argument is moot. If you’re worried about noise and light don’t ever visit or live in a city then. Electric rates I’m not sure about
English

1. Noise pollution
2. Light pollution at night
3. Water consumption/contamination
4. Electric rates and the burden of the costs being put directly or indirectly on tax payers
I have been saying incessantly that if these 4 issues are addressed by governments and the corporations, I will stop opposing Data Center development completely.
English

@realjakejacks What is the negative impact versus the positive impact?
English

@sharpchr81 We already have an enormously greater amount of Data Centers than China. And this isn’t about all Data Centers, this is about the impact of AI* Hyperscale Data Centers on local communities.

@jenteach13 Throwing money at the problem hasn’t helped to this point. Perhaps student and parent accountability would help.

@CBHeresy There is a time and place for this type of celebration and it’s not here during the graduation ceremony.

Stephen Colbert, a professed Catholic, says he believes that when we die, "there is some continuance of some kind. But it’s like a dispersion of the self into some other greater being. And I don’t have any other feelings beyond that.”
This sounds more like the Gnostic concept of the Pleroma than the Catholic doctrine of Heaven.

@FastbreakHoops5 Wilt scored 100 in 48 minutes without any three pointers

@thejjalvarez @christopherrufo What do you call it when someone takes your hard earned money away from you?
English

@christopherrufo Republicans claim to be against taxes, they say things like “taxation is theft”
… except when it comes to poor people. They don’t mind taxes on poor people.
English

The argument against zeroing out taxes for the bottom half is that they would then have no skin in the game and any tax increase for the bands above them would seem to be a pure benefit—it’s always easier to tax some else.
Result: higher taxes and spending, same problem as now.
Jeff Bezos@JeffBezos
Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.
