Lemm had an interesting night. The Australian native Lemm was the victim of a hidden ball trick earlier in the game. After a single, Alabama had runners on first and third with no outs. Third baseman Brodie Johnston faked a throwback to pitcher Connor Fennell. Lemm took his lead and got tagged out. The Dores escaped with no runs allowed with a 3-1 lead. Then Lemm grabbed a bat in the ninth and cracked a long homer over the centerfield wall to end the game. From goat to hero in the span of an hour. Isn't baseball the best.

Bittersweet news: I have been hired by FOX Sports as a freelance producer and social media content creator for the World Cup. I’ll be heading to Los Angeles next week to begin, which means today’s game against UAB will be my final in-person Alabama baseball game this spring. @JoeGaither6 will be taking over for me in the press box, so follow him for all of the analysis and updates. I will still be covering some things remotely, and will certainly be chiming in here on the team. Thank you to everybody who has followed and supported my work this season. It's been a blast getting to cover the Crimson Tide this spring, and I look forward to returning in August for my senior year!
