Lately there are some artists in Ghana who claim to be better than Shatta Wale lyrically and musically. yet Beyoncé, a world-renowned music icon, chose to collaborate with Shatta Wale while other artists came away empty-handed. My question is what are the reasons for this decision and how the choice of collaboration with Shatta Wale came about. Are there any particular criteria or factors that led to Shatta Wale being preferred? I ask this in the interest of transparency and fairness to all talented artists in Ghana.
