On Tuesday, I found out someone dumped 3 kittens in a field behind my house. Luckily they wandered to my side but was tough getting them because of a fence that divides the property. I was able to capture two of them on Thursday and caught the 3rd early this morning by using some sneaky tricks. Sadly, SPCA can’t take them and animal control will euthanize them if under 2 pounds. I can’t take in 3 cats because I already have 4 dogs so this was all pretty frustrating to find out being it’s taken me several days to rescue them. On top of that, I don’t like cats but I wasn’t going to sit back and ignore them. In our field, we have many wild animals and plenty of hawks and owls. I’m surprised they lasted this long to be honest. Good news; they are all safe, being cared for, and we are now fostering these little bitches. A small inconvenience but oh well. Between dogs and cats - I think I’ve taken in like 8 animals since I’ve lived here.
