@FOXFOOTY As bad as these choices are the fact you don’t mention Humphrey at 6 over tsatas at 5 in 2022 draft is pretty ordinary reporting. Essendon couldn’t select wardlaw so why even mention him.

ESSENDON'S 10 COSTLY LIST BLUNDERS 🫣 From draft 'busts' including a 'wipe out' crop... to an exodus of breakout stars in different colours and Pick 1 regret. These 10 list calls have proven costly for the struggling Bombers. TACKLE THE HEADLINE ➡ bit.ly/4bJPyXb

Local league grand final. One ball left. Batting side 9 down in innings 4, but ahead on 1st inns - so they survive it they win; a wicket they lose. Then this happened What's your decision ?

@hasumpstuffedup @BeltwayAussie Supporters will ignore 50 mistakes by their players but blame an umpire on a 50/50 on rule the supporters doesn’t understand.

A two week suspension for Bailey Humphrey for his sling tackle against Maurice Rioli. Will miss against Melbourne after the bye. Assessed as high impact. A striking fine for Toby Greene and Patrick Voss gets $1500 for other misconduct against Harrison Petty

@Markm106 Tmac is our best defender with turner. I would have happily traded lever for another pick inside 20 in last off season. Or a future fist round.

We need to discuss Jake Lever. With May gone and the game plan changed to play at breakneck speed which doesn’t allow us to get back and set up, Lever looks cooked.

@Markm106 The ups and downs of a new side. Good to see a little fight back that second quarter. Bigger concern is senior players in the backline soccering/paddling the ball rather than picking it up.

Well. Back to reality it seems. No doubt we’ll be ok against teams around us. Top sides will put us away if we can’t defend. The ground ball in the back half is a nightmare.

@davidking34 Absolutely you can see the game differently but you shouldn't have your feelings hurt when someone calls you out for it.... seems like its going to be a long 4 months for sydney by the sound of it. Ciao*

Honestly @davidking34 if you can't call a Hawthorn game without essentially supporting the opposition then dont bother. When we hit the lead in the last quarter all you could muster was "remember, sydney are seriously disarmed" Up the Hawks!

@awcwvlc The Beth mooney catch isn’t reflex either. Look I am not disagreeing with you, I could easily post a sharp slips catch by a female and show a male dropping a catch. They are both great versions of the game and don’t need comparisons.

@Markm106 Saints have been beaten twice in different ways. Sides that back in their system against ours & who have the skill/experience to execute could equal a tough day. But all I wanted to see this year was something different from 2022 finals until end of last season.

A big watch for me on the Dees moving forward is getting exposed defensively. We pressed high up the ground and think we could come undone in a big way at times. Just got to keep up the frenetic pace.

@M___D___0 @1116sen I highly doubt a journalist just makes stuff up, some do but very rare (not saying he is correct - his source could be wrong). Also you do know jurnos will go to jail before revealing a source, it’s just about the no.1 rule for a jurno not to reveal their sources.

@1116sen Isn’t it amazing that a so called journalist can write this rubbish and are never questioned. It is easy to hide behind “my sources “, or “other clubs believe” or “it appears”. A suggestion, reveal your sources, research the article correctly or keep your opinions to yourself.

@T_Shaw12 @rickm18 I was watching parts of the last quarter replay knowing the scores. 11mins to go and the pies have the ball 70m from goal infront of MCC members. They chipped it around 5-6 times before kicking long inside 50. Took 45 secs off the clock

After Liam Ryan’s miss that made it a 12-point game – 78-66 Collingwood – with 7:37 to go, if my counting's right: • Collingwood uncontested marks: 28 • St Kilda possessions inside forward 50: 1 Final Score: 78-66 Collingwood. Pretty decent game management #AFLSaintsPies
