Daryll has been missing since 7am Saturday morning and it’s very out of character for him, can we all please RT the life out of this please 🙏 #NUFC#SAFC
Ben Mee chose to speak facts here.
"Footballers play for the fans, not people in boardrooms. No one scores a goal or makes a last-ditch tackle to earn the praise of the owners.
"They do it for the feeling they get when the crowd roars.
"The feeling of elation when we win is the same as it was as a kid. Something those who know little about football cannot relate to.
"Football is all about competition and enjoyment — that's why we love the game.
"Without that it's just business."
What songs can you simply NOT listen to? They instantly make you skip the track or change station? For me there are only two.
Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
Dexy’s Midnight Runners - Come on Eileen
The 2nd particularly is so terrible and ingrained into my brain from attending a glut of 80s and 90s family weddings that I simply cannot allow it in my ears.
@AlbertHltn Supported BFC for 47yrs,was v.ill for 2 mths so didn't go on Jan/Feb but since better not been back on,just lost all interest which is not like me.Its not losing, it's how we're playing, team choices, subs,VAR,atmosphere.I've renewed my ST but just want my enthusiasm to return.
Going to the Burnley game today and there were technically points to play for, however from walking down to the ground right until I left it, I felt absolutely nothing.
No passion. No excitement. Not even any nerves.
The current ownership of the club are slowly (but surely) killing everything that Burnley stands for as a club: tradition, passion, and togetherness.
They like to put on a front of trying to pander to the fanbase but they’re so so far off it. Maybe it’s genuinely just a lack of understanding.
During this week I’ve seen Burnley put out various pieces of content on social media, three posts stood out to me: JBL talking about his dog, Connor Roberts talking about his dog, and three of the players playing virtual golf. The lack of understanding and ability to read the room is beyond me. We’ve not won at home since OCTOBER.
I’ve never felt a bigger disconnection with the club I love, and I know by going to every home game that the majority of fans feel the same.
Change is needed.

Hi @LFC ❤️
My brother Carl is a lifelong Liverpool fan and loves Dominik Szoboszlai.
He’s currently battling terminal cancer, and Liverpool is one of the few things that still brings him joy. A short video message from Dom or any of the players would mean the absolute world.
Can someone please recommend a tv series that's actually addictive, the kind that makes people stay up all night and finish season one in a sitting???????
@roschjpatrick I've been the same🤔been going on for 47 years but just not enjoyed going on this season, different to other poor seasons,VAR etc but I've renewed too😬 #UTC
