In light of the SAVE Act, Democrats should require every gun owner to register and complete a federal background check that requires either a passport or a birth certificate. Unless Republicans think this is an undue burden on a Constitutionally protected right.

My son texted me the letter "X" at 11 PM. That is our agreement. It means: "Things are getting weird. Get me out. But make it look like you are the bad guy." I called him immediately. I used my "angry dad" voice. "I told you to clean the garage before you left! Get home right now or you're grounded for a month!" He hung up, rolled his eyes at his friends, and said, "My dad is such a psycho. I gotta go." He got in the car. He was safe. He didn't have to be a "snitch" or "uncool." He just had to be the kid with the annoying dad. I will wear that badge every single day if it keeps him safe.

@gotrice2024 I loathe their delivery service. They were so bad I was crying on the sidewalk begging them to complete the delivery. Ordered washer and dryer. They said they only had the dryer. They lied. The store manager asked when I called later to reschedule “Why did you refuse the washer?”

You bought a new washing machine from Lowe’s, you even took off work so that you could be home for the delivery because your washing machine isn’t working right. After an hour after the delivery window ended, you call them and see why they didn’t come yet. They tell you they did come and that you didn’t answer the door so they left a note on the door. You go out and sure enough, there’s a note. You check your camera and see this. At this point would you even bother with the delivery again or would you just cancel and go buy from another store that values their customers more?

hi all—I’ll be leaving this up for 24 hours before deactivating my account. I’m safe & getting care. I want to say that the reason people struggling with suicidal ideation don’t speak up is because people do things like call the cops on them & write their husbands, as is what happened to me yesterday. this is not the way, & I regret reaching out for help here. I will be writing an article about this in the future. thanks to those of you who reached out to me directly, though. it meant the world.
