I’m Tom, UK-based, and my goal is simple: retire and live off dividends. I’m nobody special, just a guy fortunate enough to find investing early enough to make a difference and now want to share my journey to hopefully motivate somebody to start. Right now, my portfolio is worth ~£116k and pays me ~£2,200–£2,300 per month - around a 24% yield. Many people say that’s impossible. The numbers say otherwise. The aim is to get to a point where I can withdraw ~£2,500/month to live on, while reinvesting £1,000–£2,000 back into the portfolio so it keeps growing. I’m investing relentlessly to get there and will continue to with every spare penny I have. My investing style gets scrutinised a lot - and that’s fine. Different strategies work for different people. I’m fully committed to sharing the journey in real time - the thinking, the income, the mistakes, everything. How do you book your tickets to the first-ever ‘Madrid Cup’? You fill up bags for life with yoghurts and jam! — Our U12 Boys Bulls Academy team spent Sunday using their hands rather than their feet to help pack shoppers’ groceries at the Coop Grande Marché. The lads were raising funds to get to the football tournament at the end of November. The invitation to Madrid came after a successful trip to Liverpool Academy back in June, and they are lucky to be heading to the state-of-the-art TENPLE football complex. What an experience that will be! A huge thank you to the Co-op for their support and generosity in hosting our team.
