The Fox clip below is an example of the Israeli influenced media echo chamber- President Trump’s policy for Iran has always been “No Nuclear Weapons”, not zero enrichment (see Truth post). The Israelis want zero enrichment b/c it is nearly impossible to enforce, is a non starter for Iran & requires regime change. No Nuclear weapons is obtainable & POTUS’s redline, zero enrichment is an Israeli/Neocon ploy to force conflict. x.com/allenanalysis/…

@KanwarSierah Stop complaining. You are over-politicizing this. The issue was allowing them come in as students years ago. Now that they have graduated, should IRCC now deny PGWPs to those who followed every rule and met the requirements? If you want to play politics, contest for a position.

@Simran6397 @ninomelikidze French category isn’t your problem. There are doctors or high skilled workers in French speaking countries. French scores being lower than other categories do not mean French speakers are unskilled. People getting high scores is mostly due to age and language scores anyway

Unfortunate but not entirely surprising with the steep drop in international student enrollment numbers… all colleges across the country will be affected by the temporary resident reduction and subsequent loss of their capital coming into the country (that has been predominantly going to the colleges for years pre-2025). Colleges will need to downsize to more sustainable, pre-larger international student targets. Some will most likely have to shut down. The business model was only sustainable at this scale while the government immigration targets supported it

I deeply regret my vote. You offered no condolences for the 168 Iranian schoolchildren slaughtered by U.S. and Israeli missiles, yet you were quick to mourn 2 people killed in the UAE. You reward child-killers and sanction the victims of aggression. @MarkJCarney, you are not the leader this peace-loving, humanitarian country deserves.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Canada shares its condolences with the UAE following the latest Iranian attack that took the lives of two civilians in Abu Dhabi.    We strongly condemn Iran’s unprovoked attacks on the UAE and across the region, and reiterate the importance of opening secure access through the Strait of Hormuz. Canada supports efforts to safeguard international shipping and ensure freedom of navigation.

@TheLaheem @Denchel96 Maresca is one of the best young managers in the world. We all knew the board wouldn’t go for a Tuchel or Enrique kind of manager. Those who weren’t clueless, knew that we were going to get a rookie if Maresca was sacked.

@lovesshebaa @NimaTavRood That’s why I’m shocked. Their fans can’t travel to support the team because they are on a ‘banned list’. The same country attacked them. Why don’t you just move their games to another country where their fans can travel to and everyone is happy. Looks like FIFA is compromised.

Mind you Cuba is literally just some island nation that has never launched a military attack at us. The US has them under a blockade because wealthy americans don't like their economy. That's literally it.

CNN: Breaking news. Cuba's electrical grid has suffered a complete and total collapse. This is according to the country's power operator. It's the first nationwide blackout since the US effectively shut off the flow of oil to Cuba

@Chukwunonso_CC @nemmsbouy @Olufemiloye Some of you argue about what you know nothing about. There is a fixed term of 4 years. General elections happen every 4 years. A PM can either call an election earlier or the government can be brought down earlier. A PM calling a general election earlier is at his own discretion.

@nemmsbouy @Olufemiloye I'm well aware that they are different systems. That is what I was alluding to in the first place. Plus when I said "that isn't democracy", what I meant was that Canada's parliamentary system "isn't near ideal"; Since they simply wait till polls favour them.

Not exactly what’s happening. Carney didn’t announce the by-elections because his approval rating is high. The seats are vacant due to resignations and seat annulment. Constitutionally they must be filled through a by-election within 180 days The same applies in the US if a seat becomes vacant in the House of Representatives. A special election is conducted. And that’s in fact democracy in action.
Chukwunonso@Chukwunonso_CC

@Olufemiloye Politicians like Carney won't survive in US. Unlike US, Canada just announces elections whenever their approval rating is high. That's not democracy

🚨 SECWAR PETE HEGSETH DROPS TRUTH: "I liken Iran's predicament to a football team, who scripted the first 20 plays of the game. The team knew what plays to run because their first few drives were scripted." "But now that the game has started and the blitz is on, they don't know what plays to call, let alone how to get in the huddle and call those plays." "Iran's senior leaders are dead. The so-called governing council that might have selected a successor, dead, missing, or cowering in bunkers, too terrified to even occupy the same room." "Senior generals, mid-level officers, enlisted ranks, they can't talk or communicate, let alone mount a coordinated and sustained offensive." "That's not great for morale. The Iranian Air Force is no more, built for 1996, destroyed in 2026." "The Iranian Navy rests at the bottom of the Persian Gulf. Combat ineffective, decimated, destroyed, defeated. Pick your adjective." Holy smokes 🔥🔥🔥

Farewell Canada… Two and a half years ago, I packed my bags and boarded a flight from London 🇬🇧 to Toronto 🇨🇦. It was the beginning of a new chapter — one I could never have fully imagined. Tonight, I’m standing in Toronto Pearson International Airport, about to board another flight — this time back home to London. I’m pausing. Reflecting. Feeling the full weight of this moment. Canada has transformed me. I worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist at London Health Sciences Centre and served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Western University. But beyond the titles and roles, what I carry with me is something far deeper — the privilege of witnessing the full spectrum of human emotion, of serving those with mental health difficulties, of growing alongside extraordinary colleagues and unforgettable friends. I have learned. I have grown. I have been stretched. I have been humbled. This goodbye is bittersweet. My heart is heavy — because I leave behind friendships forged in authenticity and adversity, friendships I will carry for the rest of my life. But the wounded healer must wander on. Canada will always be a part of me. And who knows what the future holds. As always — protect your minds and protect your hearts. I’ll see you on the other side. Ahmed Hankir The Wounded Healer Signing out — for now. 🇨🇦✈️🇬🇧
