UPDATE: The company’s statement that they were ‘refunding the money’ appears to no longer be on the GFM website. Instead a new one has appeared stating that ‘Brendan will be receiving £28k to cover the new cost of his new car and insurance’

UPDATE: The company raising money for a carer whose car was burned during riots say that they are ‘refunding everyone’s money.’ On GoFundMe they wrote that “someone” released ‘fake news’ that they would ‘only be giving him ‘£3k of the money’ which ‘jeopardised their safety’
