Excellent article in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung today by @menger_tom, who presented findings from his PhD research into colonial warfare from a trans-imperial perspective for the @sheffmihg earlier this year. Well worth a read!

I just submitted an article about accidental fires as experienced & understood by Finnish migrant socialists in early 20th C Canada. I analyzed women's & children's letters in Toveritar, Vapaus coverage, and a case study of deadly Sointula fire of 1903. It was exciting to write!
