@shegoeso I know they’re expensive and heavy but to me they have been worth an investment. I love my L.L. Bean duck boots. They’re naturally wide (I have oddly shaped feet) and the upper part would easily open enough to accommodate a swollen calf.

My organization put on our annual anti racism leadership awards event a few weeks ago in Boston. We've been doing this since the 80's. I created a very Covid conscious event, air filters, open air, etc. The first time ever, the event lost money. Ever. I'm reeling.
