i’ve now seen both sides of the spectrum.. people who move here to dubai, can’t find work, and leave… and then people who move here, earn well, and still leave… conclusion: not everyone is built for Dubai

everything has a price .. question is whether ur paying it consciously or not ..

erp therapy doesn’t get nearly enough credit.

every broken system, every difficult person, every pattern you can’t explain.. trace it back far enough and you’ll find parenting. it all boils down to that. everything.

nobody does anything without an incentive... and sales lays this bare better than anything. the person signing off on a buying decision isn’t moved by your pitch, rather by what that decision does for their kpi. map the incentive structure first. everything else is noise.

the lens matters. two people can witness the exact same moment and walk away with entirely different conclusions.

you don’t think about your throat until tonsils take over. you don’t think about your ability to breathe until it’s blocked. and that’s exactly the problem.. we only recognise blessings at the point of losing them. a clear throat is nothing. until it’s everything. and that’s just one part of the body.. good health is the foundation everything else is built on. lose it, and nothing else matters.

being kept busy by your work is a privilege most people don’t recognise. stillness sounds peaceful.. until the mind starts filling the silence with everything you’ve been avoiding. keeping busy is a protection of sorts

once you watch someone you love take their last breath.. you are permanently split into two people. the one before it. and the one after. nothing closes that gap.

Notification grouping by app has to be one of the most underrated features on iOS. every layer of noise you cut.. is a layer closer to actual focus.

ocd gets framed as something to overcome. but watch what happens when someone with it turns it toward their professional life. system. structure, governance, precision.. things most people have to force. you just can’t turn off..

long gone are the days buffets had discipline. a quiet acknowledgment that others exist. now people just cut in, pile up, act like nobody else exists. if we can’t hold discipline at a buffet.. what does that say about everything else?

unpopular food take.. if u can’t finish it, it’s not good food. it doesn’t matter how good the first bite was. something that turns u off 25% through.. failed.

Unpopular metric for hotel quality: count the female staff. I have no hard data yet.. but my experience / observation suggests there is a clear correlation; more women on the floor, better the service
