Today, we conducted a strategic visit to the @Environment_Ke National Climate Change Resource Centre. Recognizing that knowledge is the foundation of effective advocacy, we are committed to ensuring this vital facility becomes a vibrant hub for youth-led innovation and research.

We today held a meeting with @YouthSenateKE to explore leveraging research, policy advocacy, & capacity strengthening, to ensure youth voices translate into practical policy outcomes and sustainable development impact, especially on climate action and environmental management.

Through the #OROF project, we are leveling up our internal systems, making our team more efficient and our mission more sustainable. We believe that continuous capacity strengthening is the foundation of longevity for youth-led, youth-serving organizations. #OurRightsOurFuture

Democracy in Africa is work in progress, shaped by institutions, elections, and the vital role of youth. As #Uganda 🇺🇬 votes today amid familiar challenges like securitization and internet shutdowns, youth participation on the ground and at the ballot is crucial for change.

In Burkina Faso, we are reminded of Thomas Sankara’s vision: true sovereignty and progress begin with self-reliance and responsibility. He showed us that corruption is a choice, leadership must serve the people not personal gain, and that young people must drive the change.

As part of the @AYCommission partner engagements in the Netherlands, we met with @NetherlandsMoFA to share our achievements under the @aacjinaction program, and our strides in elevating youth and grassroots voices in governance processes across our countries.
