@emoloveyb2 @nbanerdd Not at all. Great defender and a good rim finisher. But history has not been kind to bigs with chronic foot injuries. I am really hoping this all resolves itself with the improved medical staff and adequate time to heal, but I need to see it.

Melo had one of the greatest offensive playmaking seasons ever, ushering in Hali levels of impact for his teammates, that won’t go unnoticed by me. It started clicking later in the year and they would’ve been a high seed had they not been so injured in the first half of the season. Murray just had his most consistent season yet and firmly player at an all-star level or even better

Ring culture rewards being in the right place. Robert Horry has seven titles as a role player who hit huge shots but never led a team. Derek Fisher's rings inflate his standing the same way. Counting rings can flatter a career that never really earned the shine.

A complete scorer can beat you from three, from the midrange and at the rim. Jordan checked every box. Durant may be the most efficient version, and Dirk added an unblockable release. Guarding these players meant picking which bucket you could live with.

@jordan_marlo_ I would be shocked if we get a first for any of these guys. Good players but you just don’t see first go in trades anymore less that involve all stars.

If the Thunder can’t get 1st for an impact player like Dort than Mavs fans need to temper their expectations for the return we’d likely get for Gaff or PJ.

@BraveHawk404 I watched him all last season. He is a good player and has backup PG upside. He has incredible floor vision. His shot comes and goes, but I remember that with Brunson as well. The biggest limiter is obviously he isn’t going to get bigger and that hurts defensive impact.

Ryan Nembhard was not a salary throw in. I was told the 23 assist game didn't count because it was in April against G Leaguers. How about 28 points, 10 assists, 0 turnovers on 100% true shooting in December against the Nuggets starters? 🤔
