Talentless actors get away with being mediocre just because they’re alright-looking, but people always want to tear actresses down over the most mundane things. That’s why I’ll always have an issue with these “criticisms” because they’re always applied strictly to women.

Sometimes “fans” can turn into haters really quickly when their “favorite” doesn't do what they want or expect. Please be aware that these “ex-fans” may be among your mutuals, slowly poisoning you with their words.

Your favorite actor might be someone else’s least favorite, and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean they can’t act or that they’re bad; it just means we all have different tastes and perspectives. That’s exactly why fan wars don’t make sense.

No one’s acting is better than anyone else’s because no two actors have the same creative footprint. Degrading an actor (both male and female) to defend another immediately invalidates your criticism. You can praise your favorite without disrespecting someone’s else craft.
