Computer science grads used to be a hot commodity — now they fear they’re being replaced by AI. Experts say entry-level positions are disappearing due to artificial intelligence, an uncertain economy, and too many students entering the work force. trib.al/izXa9iJ

"In 1997, I was a 29-year-old award-winning art critic and journalist when I was stricken by a violent and disabling onset of manic depression. I managed to avoid the street for 26 years after my diagnosis. The idea of homelessness was terrifying. When I faced it in 2019, I thought of which warm states I could go to and live in my car, and I had visions of which bridge I would jump off. How many other people are in this position, too ill and poor to afford affordable housing? And too poor to be homeless?" Read the extraordinary firsthand account: bit.ly/3O8ci81

Billy Talent was amazing last night minus the insanity that occured with people crashing the gates and pushing everyone around but what to expect at a free outdoor concert at a festival. Thankfully my friends got out of the insanity safely.

Walter Kehm, a prominent landscape architect, has walked away from the Ontario Place revamp, in opposition to clearing 800+ trees. “Nature is calming for the soul,” he told me. “You don’t need a spa for that. You need trees.” Latest for @TorontoStar thestar.com/news/gta/it-s-…

My colleague @ColinDMello asked Premier Doug Ford —if what happened with the Greenbelt land swaps and deals that will enrich developers to the tune of billions — is corruption. “That’s pretty nasty you saying that.” Colin keeps pushing on the line of questioning.
