@babadookspinoza not advocating for guns but collapsible batons are kinda weak and you still a hefty amount of force to deal significant damage to someone, I feel like some sort of pepper spray is better if you are trying to go non-lethal, just give the robber the phone man

FYI: collapsible batons are much cheaper than guns, don’t need licensure and are a lot less of an escalation simply to draw but are scary enough to deter and extend your reach by >1’ if not. I got my Smith & Wesson for $50. Break their legs and run! (Check legality in your area.)

“What if Boba Fett was a likable guy” was a perfectly serviceable pitch for an adventure of the week type show. “What if the actual Boba Fett was a bored, elderly local bureaucrat” was a little stranger.

it’s a good bit that instead of just making a boba fett show, disney made a show about a new guy who is exactly like boba fett and gave him a show. then they also made a boba fett show. and that show crossed over with the show with the new guy. it’s just good brand strategy.
