Another week, another tough away game! This week we face old foes @HebburnSportsFC as we look to end the season better than we started it.
Only 1 defeat (last week) since November has the lads in good spirits, and with it bit luck an Easter bonanza could be in store.

After snatching defeat from the jaws of victory last weekend, we head to Blakelaw for a 6 pointer.
Another side that have beaten us in all previous encounters, but we were on a decent run (til last week) & love a tough challenge. Which is good as that’s exactly what’s in store.

We slump to defeat agains a strong @Boldon_ShackFC side.
After conceding an early goal, we rallied and despite sustained shack pressure, we held firm and with our sole sub made after 10 mins, succumbed to 2 late goals.

A calamitous error with 20 mins left gifted Sherburn an equaliser which changed the game, and a late OG cost us our unbeaten run.
In all honestly, we could have put the game to bed beforehand - but that’s football.

After what feels like months we finally have a Home game today, with Sherburn coming to the welfare.
With a few teams around us in cup action this weekend, 3 points would be huge for our league position.
It’ll definitely be a tough game following a 1:1 draw earlier this season.

Good game that could have went either way, but we managed to see out with a great 2nd half performance.
After a slow start we were lucky to only be one goal down at halftime, but going up the hill we mixed it up well & held on for 3 valuable points.

Loads of talk about some derby game on Sunday - but for us there is only one game that matters this weekend.

Washington 1:3 Shields
Decent from us, we looked comfortable until we went 2:0 up with 20 mins left. We then managed to panic, make bad decisions & ended up under the cosh for what seemed like ages. Luckily we did enough & a late goal got us over the line.
