@lilScooter254 Fair enough. The issue is everyone is obsessed w trading back bc in a mock draft every pick is a hit. We don’t need more picks. We need to draft good players w the picks we have.

@DavidFurones_ Reminds me too much of Chop. Phenomenal athlete but the production doesn’t match. I don’t want to draft on potential. If they didn’t do it in college what makes us think they’ll do it in nfl?

@Dolfan2334 @DanteCollinelli Agreed. Not advocating for it but I wouldn’t be totally upset if the fins took Simpson at 30. (Won’t happen) if he somehow makes it to 43 I’d absolutely take a flier on him. And im fine w him sitting behind Willis.

@DanteCollinelli Interesting take, Dante. I don’t agree. I believe the gap is small. Not convinced Mendoza is all that. There’s some truth to what Orlovsky said. For me, Mendoza is being overhyped and Simpson just needs more experience.

The gap between Mendoza (QB1) and Simpson (QB2) on my board is one of the biggest I've had since I started doing this.

The only “weapon” I’d take at #11 is Kenyon Sadiq. Just because he’s so much more than a receiving weapon - he’s a freak athlete that’s also a tremendous blocker, embraces the physical aspect of the game, offers you so much schematic versatility with where he can line up, only 21 years old with so much more untapped potential (which is scary), etc. I think he’s a better prospect than Warren and Loveland last year, with Bowers slightly ahead of him when he was a prospect coming out of Georgia two years ago. Besides Sadiq, I wouldn’t start considering a WR until #30/Day 2 or any other TE until Day 2 as well. #PhinsUp *if you really want a scary thought, Jamari Johnson, who is now the clear cut TE1 in Oregon, may be even better coming out next year.

There is a reason why Ty Simpson decided to declare for the draft months ago and not go back to college. He knows that #NFL teams liked what he put on tape in 2025. It’s not new.
