@Janthe1stR@XxW0ND3RG1RLSxX@_paperdove I think there is a misunderstanding, the person talking about destruction of top soil seems to be referring to modern US agricultural practices, not indigenous people's
Non Indigenous people showing how racist they really are. Btw, y'all are never gonna know liberation without Land Back. Start listening to Indigenous people.
Marx's problem is just that he's too productivist: he thinks producing stuff is the dominant imperative of social processes. But actually "production" isn't what matters, "control" is. So what matters about technology is how it can be controlled or how it enables control.
@NewPerspectives@RadicalShibaLP im afraid party A does not become party B just because party A usurps parties B role in a political system, as party A and party B are distinct variables representing different political ideologies entirely
@shinywolf42 well i don't think so at all. for example, in his theory he assumes that liquidity is a free good during the normal operation of the monetary system.
@drumm_colin i think its one thing to disagree with marx's conclusions but i think his descriptions are p universally accurate when describing how systems operate
@_georgebaran@sapph0kanikan yes, dispatched is the common term within the realm of livestock, but i killed them regularly and processed (butchered) them down for meat and hide
@drumm_colin well meaning is mostly determined by context, which is determined by use, although some languages are prescriptive, like french, where the government determines official language norms, but im not rly a fan of that, language follows function, not form, like slang etc
@drumm_colin Well according to semiotics and the study of language and symbols to communicate all things have meaning, not just words, but i do mean all words, not sure what u mean by thay
@shinywolf42 i mean that before you were talking about real stuff, and now you are talking a bunch of drivel like "applying dialectical and historical materialism to social systems through the means of deconstruction"
just complete wankery.
@drumm_colin im afraid im confused by what u mean, do u expect a marxist economy to just spontaneously generate? revolution is built, part of building a system like this involves understanding not just what u want to build, but what u wanted to be unbuilt
@drumm_colin it is applying dialectical and historical materialism to social systems through the means of deconstruction, to understand how a system can be destroyed, you must understand how it workers, its the practical reality of applying marxism, u have to do counter-intelligence
