every event so far has just been full of headliners and so now when an event is actually curated beyond mainstream, the public doesn’t have the pallet for it. it is up to the public to develop taste, its up to promoters to platform it.

Our artists are extremely talented, we should embrace that. We have homegrown genres such as Maskandi, Gqom, 3 Step, Amapiano, Kwaito, Lekompo, Bacardi, Mbaqanga, Afro-tech etc.
They also excel in external genres: Hip Hop, RnB, Pop, House, Jazz, Indie etc.
It really isn't a flex.
