Yesterday, while at the Plateau State Government House, Oga Yari pointed me out to the Governor and said, “There’s Mallam Abdulsalam.” The Governor responded with a smile, “You’re the one always active on Twitter with your Surutu” We all burst into laughter. The Governor then took time to guide me with wise counsel on life and the complexities of governance, especially in Plateau State. He turned to Hon. Kwande and said, “You need to mentor Mallam Abdulsalam properly so he can venture into politics and understand the real picture.” I then informed him of my intention to contest for the Chairmanship of Jos North Local Government. Which he promised to support me when the time comes. Thank you, @CalebMutfwang, for the thoughtful gifts and books you gave me. Insha Allah, once I finish reading them, I’ll return for a review and further discussion.

Nah, it's not fair that you're attributing his defeat to religion.
Pankshin, kanke, kanam as a matter of agreement allows elected members to do only one term the same principle Hon. Gagdi rode on to win his first term but for his performance and other political calculations he was allowed the second term.
He should have read the room and not contest Again.
