By the way, the issue was never about Barça not having money to spend. It would be crazy to think Barça didn’t have money when they generate so much revenue and are consistently one of the clubs with the highest revenue every single year. The actual issue was not being under the 1:1 rule. Therefore, it was never a question of, "Does Barça have the money?" It was a question of whether Barça would be allowed to spend their money because of FFP. If it is 100% confirmed, and it appears like Barça is back in the 1:1 rule (with Lewy leaving the club), then it will hopefully make the summer transfer window a little easier for them. Obviously, they still need to be cautious, but it gives them much more freedom to spend the money they actually have.

@theBarcaInsider One important thing ur missing here is that flick doesn't trust him even a tiny bit. I remember when he became fit towards the end of last season he never started any matches unless aarujo was also unfit. He used to come to only see off matches in the last 15 mins.

Call me crazy but I like the Christensen renewal. If the club manages to keep him fit, it would allow for a (maybe) Araujo sale. Plus Andreas is better than the Uruguayan and would be on lower wages. The big what if is if he can stay fit.
