If she makes one of her MLAs resign to fight a bypoll, Suvendu Adhikari will stand against her and defeat her for the third time. She can't ask any of her Rajya Sabha MPs to resign and make way for her because she no longer has a majority in the Bengal Assembly, and BJP would snatch that seat if fresh Rajya Sabha elections are held due to resignation. She can't go to the Lok Sabha either till at least 2029. So where will she go after getting up every day?

There are 2 more years left for Karnataka polls KA is a great case study on why freebies are bad Congress raised taxes on literally everything. Debt pressure is high. Dy CM openly admitted they can't do much on infra cuz of freebies. But, are freebies running well? No. Multiple cases of delayed payments. Put more caveats on announced freebies so that they don't pay up. Meanwhile BJP Karnataka is busy with..... I don't know what they're doing!

I was sitting with a neighbour I casually hang out with over tea or drinks and she mentioned how happy she was that Mamata lost and BJP won, saying her friends in Kolkata were celebrating. The topic then shifted to UP, she said she really likes Yogi and when I asked her reason, she said she likes him because he is “Kattar Hindu” and he has controlled Muslims. I told her on her face that this says a lot about you and didn’t take the conversation any further. This is exactly why I prefer keeping my circle small and staying away from political discussions, because once I understand how someone thinks, I cannot like them the same way or feel at ease around them.
