People tell me they don't have time to meditate. What they don't understand: Meditation gives the best ROI on time invested. If you meditate for 10-20 mins a day, you will be significantly more efficient in daily life. What took 8hrs to do, might only take 5hrs now. Easy win!

One of the biggest shifts mindfulness produces in people is the ability to watch their thoughts. It lets you sit in the spectator's seat and observe why you do what you do. If you catch undesirable thoughts and cultivate desirable ones, your habits & actions will soon follow.

If you find people flaunting all-nighters and long working hours, don't be impressed. The best people are those who do everything and still have time to live a life.

Amor Fati - the love of fate - is one of my favorite Stoic principles. Whatever happens in your life, try not only to bear or accept it but LOVE it. Believe that everything happens for the best - for your growth. And then make the best of it

Anger appears in the heart when one's desires are thwarted. When we expect others to be as we want them to be, we feel angry if they don't. The way to curb anger is to not have expectations.

Quit counting your tasks and being anxious about your to-do list. Take one item and focus on it. Until it's done, try not to think about anything else. You get your list done by concentrating on one thing, not by worrying about ten.

Trying to change a habit without having anything to replace it seldom works. Nature abhors a vacuum. Before you try to give up something, find something better to do instead.

When people say ASAP, they don’t actually mean “as soon as possible.” They mean, “Leave everything you’re doing and do this now!” which is the exact opposite of ASAP. It’s confusing at best and infuriating at worst. Be cautious of how you use your words.

Here's a things about creativity: The best ideas come when our mind is wandering. But if you fill every single moment with a distraction, how can you be creative? Embrace boredom. Let the ideas flow!

@Chris_Awoke1 Spot on Chris! Most of the times it is about being good at decision making and deciding which tasks don't need to be completed.

Productivity is not about doing more things in less time. It's about consciously choosing what you work on. If you spend more time thinking WHAT you're working on, you'll automatically be more productive. Remember – 80% of your results come from 20% of your activity.

End your fascination with the "grind" Yes, you need to work hard. But don't blindly push yourself to sacrifice other things you value (family, travel, etc.) We all have our own definition of hard work. Follow yours. Write your own rules. Don't let others write them for you.

We need to be reminded more than we need to be taught. You DON'T NEED new: • Courses • Books • Videos • Degrees You NEED to: • Execute • Take action • Practice

I try to make inner peace my "bottom line" instead of money or the number of tasks done in a day. If I'm at peace, I can make better decisions and be more efficient. If I'm not centered, everything I do will be subpar. That's the best way to keep burnout at bay.

Try to never be with or talk to someone unless you can give them your full attention. There's nothing more irritating than talking to a person who isn't fully involved. Everyday example – talking to your friend in-person while checking notification on your phone.

Want to read more? Read what you actually like! I don't care if it's a classic or if everyone thinks I should read it. The only way to stick to reading is to read what you love reading about. This little mindset tweak will build your reading habit 10x quicker.
