Hmmm been getting weird feedback with my recent artwork. I've always felt a disconnect with what "I like to draw" versus what "people like to see me draw," but I sorta have a sense of how well something will be received - I feel like I've lost that sense recently. Possibly, it's because I don't really do coms anymore, so maybe it's just been my own tastes controlling what I draw - and people don't react to that as much. Or it's that I've started trying deconstruct and unify my art style into one particular look. I'm aware my paintings have some awkwardness, so I want to fix that. Maybe I'm in a rough stage right now, and I need to polish my art style to where people will start to get on board with that.
