I literally never understood the reasoning behind creating a DEX governance token when $EGLD itself literally has all the properties to make this a success. An additional token was not necessary.

I’ve always been a fan of scrapping the idea behind $MEX altogether. Scrap the token, make $EGLD the native token for the DEX. Adds more utility to EGLD altogether. Literally ever since xExchange was released with the $MEX token, $EGLD has gone on a downhill slope. Scrap it.

If Beniamin repeats the same tired 'best time to build' mantra in today's speech, it's going to infuriate the community. We need concrete action!

It was not a response your tweet. Yes, some of the integrations for xPortal should have been done faster to facilitate growth. Specifically, Solana integration before the craze began. You are right here. We missed it. What I can say, that there is a constant pushing from the xPortal team, day and nights and in the weekends. Changes have to be made in the organisation as well, an outsourcing company did not perform as we wanted, and also you saw the changes in the xMoney team as well. All related to speed and performance. We will try to accelerate always.

What do we learn from the current market dynamics? For me as a developer, for whom technology has utmost importance, I am quite happy to see that there is a space on the #crypto world for NON-EVM, highly scalable chains. Multiple high-speed chains getting traction in a world which was dominated by the 2 giants #Bitcoin and #Ethereum And I take this as a good indicator for the future to come. Hats of to the current market leading high speed chains. The high speed chains have opened up a set of new dynamics, a set of new innovations, new smart contracts, new products which were impossible to be done on legacy slow chains. And after relentless work, the market reacted positively. I do believe builders will find more and more to build, especially when it is easy to create. We designed #MultiversX with scalability, decentralisation, security and safety in mind. Correct by construction, scaling at demand, scaling forever. Now when we compare it technically, we can say proudly we nailed a few things. 1. The protocol scales horizontally for now and later this year with parallel execution we will have vertical scaling as well. 2. The VM - named SpaceVM, even after a few years stands tall and it is getting constant updates. The design decisions made early on makes it composable with other interpreters/executors/VMs, which we greatly use and discover on SovereignShards. WASM executor proved to be super fast, expendable, safe, and it is constantly developed by tech giants. WASM is a wonderful world, where microservices and frontends can scale even more, and even in a safer way. 3. SmartAccounts made sense to be created from the get go, tens of added features makes an account more usable, have more informations. The guardians feature are an undervalued innovation, as they really keep the user safe in a decentralised manner and they scale with the protocol. 4. ESDT token system, started as n outlier, but it proved that the direction was good. No wallet drains, no reentrancy issues. Incredibly composable, super easy to develop multiple contracts on top of each other, super easy to launch a token and have it listed in every dApp. BackTransfer innovation simplified DeFi SC development work by 50% at least. 5. Relayers, batch operations, paymasters bring a set of web2 features directly at protocol level, making #web3 easily usable, similar to existing web apps. I get that there are tons of attacks right now, multiple people bashing on us, while we simply do what we can best: to build. What it does not kill you, makes you stronger. We have survived a lot and we will still build more. #itistimetobuild

The best form of composability is on #MultiversX . It is easy to create any type of new token, create all kinds of dApps for it, being backward and forward compatible. Never was this easy.
