About the devleak, the token situation & the refund. sorry for the silence, we’ve been dealing with the situation nonstop. there was a dev leak and we lost control of the token deployer wallet. we spent hours figuring out where the failure happened: on our side or on the MM’s side. for the last 1.5 months we’ve been building Drafted.fun 2.0. from v1 we already knew: if you launch a token without supply control - snipers will instantly kill any upside. we don’t have that kind of infra, so when we decided to launch the token, we picked a Market Maker who could help maintain stability. the MM was chosen, wallets were generated. yesterday we launched successfully and managed to control ~81% of the supply (inc. 5% devbuy, untouched on the dev wallet). over the last 24h we actively supported the chart and spent total ~250k, while also fixing platform issues (bug with card activation/deactivation). but ~15 minutes before release the fix, tokens were sold from the deployer wallet - the one only we and MM had access to. 5% (~$70k) was sold from the dev wallet. but the real problem was much bigger: every wallet that was shared with the MM got compromised. SOL was drained, dev wallets claimed Meteora fees, moved to a new wallet, bridged out, and then sent into Tornadocash. transfer: solscan.io/account/7zEsyv… bridge: explorer.mayan.finance/trader/7zEsyv7… only the wallets shared with the MM were compromised. the wallets controlled solely by our team (including the one with pack/box revenue) were completely safe. because every MM wallet was compromised, we took an emergency action: we collected the remaining 76% of the supply we had bought back (~$150k spent) and burned it to slow down the crash while investigating. 75% supply burn: solscan.io/tx/4r8ssQkbw5f… but since the attacker also had the private keys to the LP-side wallets, they drained all accumulated trading fees and continued to withdraw them. meaning we fully lost control of both the token and the liquidity pool trading fees - there was no way to support or stabilize anything. the last 6 hours we’ve been investigating this with the MM to understand where the leak happened. this process will take more time. one thing we know for sure: we had zero reason to do this. nobody spends $250k on the chart/project + $100k airdrop just to make a single 70k exit candle. that logic doesn’t exist. we’re continuing to track the attacker and verify all traces. about refund: the wallets that received SOL from pack/box sales (~880 SOL ≈ $120k) were untouched, only we had access to them. this means every user will receive a 100% refund for all pack/box purchases made today after platform launch. refunds start tomorrow. and if you staked tokens to activate your cards - you can already unstake them with no cliff: unstake.drafted.fun as for the token: until the investigation is fully complete, we cannot take any further actions. we’ll keep everyone updated here on X, and once pack/box refunds go live tomorrow, we’ll announce it immediately. we want to sincerely apologize to everyone. this is absolutely not the launch we imagined for 2.0. because of the dev leak, we’re forced to pause the project until everything is fully understood and resolved.
