I understand that my model may have a bad past, but that doesn’t make me a bad person just because I use it now. 😔 Saying that “it’ll stick with you” comes off a bit harsh especially when you don’t know me, and you don’t know who I am as a person. I respect your decision not to interact with me due to my model, but I draw the line when I’m treated differently because of my models past.

I know and I am sure you're lovely but unfortunately your model, as lovely as it is, is a prime example of why some shouldn't be resold. Your model was the face of an incredibly toxic and problematic person in the vtuber community that did genuine harm to people, and that will stick with you.

Genuine question. Why are y’all buying models from graduating vtubers or those with financial issues for thousands of dollars when you can make your own design/build your brand off your own creation for that price or cheaper? Everytime I see a sold model it makes me think of the original owner, not the new. 😭

@ApocalypticYomi I like to try and keep the owner separate from the model when it comes to designs that have a past sometimes 😅 And I’m sorry that happened .. 😔

@shockthesystem Unfortunately for me your model was attached to a person who was fine with their community sending me various threats so it will always have horrible memories for me. 😭

People are sending me this tweet like crazy so I want to clarify something. I have not told ONE SINGLE PERSON. That my tweet was about her, because it WAS NOT. I was not even going to speak on this design because we talked privately after SHE reached out to me. But since we’re roleplaying, let’s talk about it anyway!~ SHE ORIGINALLY looked even closer to me but has opted to changing the hairstyle. She actually dmed me completely unprovoked to tell me that she looked like me, and eventually said she wouldn’t debut the design because she was worried about comparisons. If you were worried about comparisons you would have not debut this design lol. I tried to help her make tiny changes so she could feel more comfortable and not worry about the comparisons that SHE said she was worried about, and she ended up saying she was going to make a new design out of fear of other people’s opinions. I was also uncomfortable with the similarities, BECAUSE she reached out to me. Which meant she KNEW, and therefore it was not just an accident. I felt SO guilty that I offered to get her some commissions made when she got a new design because I didn’t want her to do that. She DMed me yesterday, after I tweeted that my ceiling caved in and I “DIDN’T KNOW HOW I’D AFFORD TO COVER IT” and told me she hoped I was doing ok, and then said she’d send me her references???? Inconsiderate is an understatement. Nobody is going to dm another person completely unprovoked to do damage control about a design if they unintentionally made a design that was similar to something else.
