WD Actually, I go in all the time and read all the comments. Even the negative ones, I always read them. I don’t care about comments on my visuals at all. Those I can just ignore because I can’t change them. But when it comes to comments about my singing, I always think, “Oh, I didn’t do well here. This part was a bit off. Okay, I’ll fix this later. I want to try at least once to change that person’s impression.” That’s why I always check all the latest comments on my singing. GQ Which comments stick in your memory? WD I remember the positive comments, but what sticks more are the things I need to improve. Like, “You use too many high notes,” or “I don’t feel the emotion.” But I acknowledge those. Until now, I’ve mostly just focused on singing without showing much emotional line. Emotional expression is partly innate, and partly shaped by experience. I feel I lack experience in that area, so I try to go out into the world more and gain more experiences. I tell myself, “It’s okay.
