#GameOfThrones star Emilia Clarke says she skipped the after-parties and went home after losing out on outstanding leading actress in a drama series at the 2019 #Emmys: “I’m embarrassed to admit that not winning an Emmy was a really significant thing,” she said in a new interview with Variety, where she recalled thinking, “Everyone’s over ‘Game of Thrones’ now — you’re old news.” The next morning, Clarke vowed never to “behave that way again.” “I do not like that person,” she thought, reproaching herself.
