Year 1 had a fantastic trip to Herrings Green. They were able to meet a variety of farm animals and feed some goats, including a very cheeky one that jumped over the fence to say a closer hello! There was also a flying display followed by the children flying the owls themselves.

The year 5 'Chit chat' group visited the residents of Gordon Collings house. So lovely.

Reception have had an exciting week with their new classmates. The children have enjoyed watching them hatch, grow, paddle and getting the opportunity to hold them. The children will be sad to see them go.

We are encouraging children and adults to walk, cycle or scoot to school to get active and help our environment too. Our journeys will be entered into a prize draw to win prizes for our school.#BigWalkandWheel @heartacadtrust

We have been reading the story of 'The disgusting sandwich' in Nurture and today we made our own disgusting sandwiches in our forest school. Yuk! @heartacadtrust
