@CaffeineDiary My pleasure! I am a NYPL fanatic. As soon as the first wave opened I would walk over a mile to the closest location. Luckily the one 2 blocks away from me opened a few months ago, so I'm back in business :)

I love the @nypl but my attempt to return their books to them has turned into some kind of farse where I keep trying to find an open location to return my books to before the fine date of 12/31/20 and failing...I can only surmise I can keep the books 🤷🏻‍♀️

@shoshanarf Really? The email I got said fines started after 12/31! That’s great to know!

@CaffeineDiary There are no fines until June of 2021 at least, so don't stress! You can also find a list of the open libraries and their hours here: nypl.org/locations/grab… (FYI-even once you return a book, it takes them about a week for them to actually check it in).

Favorite @shetlerstudios memories. I’ll go first. Sitting in one of the tiny penthouse rooms with the original cast and creators of Altar Boyz, trying to remain unobtrusive while they reminisced about all of the hilarious hijinks they got up to when the show first opened.

I’ve been getting more scam texts in the past several weeks than ever before. It’s heartwarming to know that even scammers are just trying to remain productive during quarantine.

Can we all collectively decide that if we want to text a friend about something specific we can just do it without first going through the whole "how are you holding up?" small talk?
