Our dodgeball team won the Suffolk dodgeball tournament ran by @BritDodgeball and qualified for national finals😀 Amazing result and is what can happen when a sport becomes a part of who you are as a school . Well done to the children.

Pass the parcel, traditional party games and a Christmas feast! What a fun party Ladybirds and Zebras.

What a lovely surprise visitor at the farm. We also made some fantastic reindeers. Thanks so much Mrs Farm Packard and Mr Andrew. 🌟

We all sang some songs and wished Mr Dedicoat goodbye and good luck. We will all miss you and Dash.

We loved our Christmas dinner today!

The Zebras were brilliant in their nativity this week ⭐️⭐️

Our elf Trixie was stolen today!!! We came into the classroom this morning to find she had been stolen...The children made wanted posters and wrote letters to her asking her to come back!

The Ladybirds are very excited to get our classroom ready for Christmas!

When the 'penny drops' and you can help others, your self esteem soars!

We have been using 3d shapes to build Shotley school.

So this afternoon we followed instructions and made our new flip board. Some children then made a double bed with the box, lots of writing and collaboration going on! 👍

This afternoon the Zebras made their poppies ready for remembrance day on Thursday.

We have been investigating the wind. We measured the wind strength by flying our paper aeroplanes and running with the ribbons. We had to wait for a gust as the wind was very light this afternoon.

Our learning is based around pumpkins this week! We have been ordering pumpkins by size, interviewing the characters in the hot seat, using tweezers to take the seeds from the pumpkin, writing recipes and so much more! What a good start back to the term! 😀
