I am an in-patient on #International_Nursing_Day being supported by the wonderful team on 7A at Yeovil Hospital. I had a surprise diagnosis of colon cancer and had a resection on Tuesday. The ward staff are amazing - skilled, dedicated and caring. I owe them huge thanks.

Definitely finding it hard to fulfil the ‘other’ requirements of training #orthotwitter - I mean I know people say just ‘find an audit’ or ‘find a project/supervisor’ but I really don’t know where to start 😭

I remain of the view it is cadaveric, as in pertaining to cadavers. Maybe my learned colleagues @Gnomelover1970 @myelbowdoc @lbowfixr will have a view? We already know @ExeterHipUnit thoughts!

Great day today, did my first skin-skin shoulder replacement :) may sound like a small thing: had my hand proverbially held throughout, ideal patient, quiet list etc but took much patience/encouragement on behalf of the boss and I really appreciate that👍 @RJAH_NHS #orthotwitter

Hands up if you’re a medic who worked as a hospital porter at some point. 🙋🏽. I was walking down the corridor at work the other day and asked a porter how steps many he walked in an average day. Record was 24,000 in an 8 hour shift! 🥵
